Sheena Brook from The Voice Season 12 has already released a new EP.

Sheena Brook released a four-track EP called “The First Time” on Friday.

It includes a catchy country-pop track called “Voodoo,” the high-energy “Lime in My Whiskey” and “Taking the High Road,” a song she wrote with her wife, Summer Stockton.

As for the title track, Sheena told The News-Press in Cape Coral that it refers to her relationship with Summer, but also has a double meaning — this marks the first time she’s gotten to record an EP of self-written originals with “my vision of what I am as an artist.”

Sheena, 33, auditioned for The Voice with “Baby Girl” by Sugarland and landed a spot on Team Adam Levine.

Though he said she might be the country singer he needed to challenge Blake Shelton, Adam had her sing Pink’s “Try” in the battle round. She lost to eventual Top 20 contestant Hanna Eyre.

Since The Voice, Sheena told The News-Press she’s gotten to do more original shows, including opening for movie star Kevin Costner and his band Modern West when they played Fort Myers, Fla., in April.

Then there was an EP release show Saturday at the House of the Rising Sun Art Bar in Fort Myers. Also on hand, fellow Voice contestants Sammie Zonana and Savannah Leighton.

“It was epic,” Sheena says in video on her Facebook page.
