Nolan Neal of the Voice Season 11 has released his first post-show single.

Nolan Neal wrote “Blame It On Me,” the first post-Voice single released by Adam Wakefield, the Season 10 runner-up on The Voice.

Now he’s back at center stage with his first post-show single and sounding as good as ever on a song called “When She Cries.”

On Facebook, Nolan says he wrote the tune with Dennis Drummond and is working on a new CD.

It would be his third solo album, following “The Wire” (2013) and “The Road to Now” (2006).

Fans of The Voice got to know Nolan on Season 10 when he shared the story of his dad’s suicide, his own subsequent drug problems and his recovery.

He failed to land a spot on the show that season, but returned to audition for Season 11 at age 35 and had all four coaches facing his way by the end of a performance of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.”

Nolan wound up advancing to the knockout round before being eliminated.

You can follow his through his Facebook page and website. On Twitter, he’s simply @NolanNeal.
