Kelly Clarkson will release her first album with Atlantic Records in October.

How excited is Kelly Clarkson about her new music?

“I feel like Khaleesi on dragons, coming in hot,” the singer said during a Facebook chat with fans Wednesday night.

The original American Idol, now 35, was positively giddy as she unveiled plans for her new album.

“Meaning of Life” is due out Oct. 27 and will be Kelly’s seventh album of original music.

But it’s also her first with Atlantic Records after leaving her longtime label, RCA.

And that seems to have made a difference as Kelly promised fans a grownup woman’s record full of sass.

“This is my first album to make outside my contract with Idol,” Kelly said. “I got to actually pick who I’m working with. Atlantic and I agreed on, like, everything. And so we have made the most amazing record.

“I didn’t know it could be like this. I literally just cried a lot before. It’s really fun and cool, 15 years later, to get to experience this.

“This is the record I’ve been wanting to make since I was a little kid.”

At the end of the chat, Kelly and her backup singers gave fans a taste of a couple of songs.

But the real first taste comes Thursday morning when Kelly releases the lead single, “Love So Soft,” at 6 a.m. eastern time.

You can also catch Kelly Friday morning on NBC’s Today show, where she’ll likely perform that new song.

Also in the works for Kelly, a new children’s book that will be released in late October, a non-children’s book she’s working on and that upcoming gig on The Voice.

Remember, she’ll be joining The Voice judging panel for Season 14 next spring.
