That means every one of the eight albums Kelly has released since winning the first season of American Idol have reached the top three on the Billboard 200.

“Piece by Piece,” her last album, came out in 2015 and debuted at number one with first-week sales of about 83,000 (97,000 equivalent album units).

Sales of “Meaning of Life” are down a bit from that.

But, of course, album sales overall have continued to drop for nearly everyone not named Taylor Swift.

Billboard reports first-week sales of “Meaning of Life” at 68,000 (79,000 equivalent album units).

The only album landing above Kelly? Kenny Chesney with “Live in No Shoes Nation.”

Meanwhile, “Love So Soft,” the lead single from “Meaning of Life,” got a boost from the album release.

The song hit number one on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart, number 10 on the Adult Pop Songs chart, number 16 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and number 23 on the Pop Chart.

On the Hot 100 singles chart, “Love So Soft” jumped 10 spots, from number 57 to number 47.
