Christina Grimmie’s family has released a new song for Mother’s Day 2018.

The Christina Grimmie family has released a special song for Mother’s Day.

It’s called “Little Girl,” and it’s a song about the bond between mother and daughter.

In a heartfelt video, Tina Grimmie explains that she was diagnosed with breast cancer when Christina was young.

Fearful of her mother’s condition, Christina would often inquire about her mother’s health.

“And I would tell her, ‘Little girl, I’m okay. It’s going to be okay.’ And I would hold her in my arms and tell her I loved her and God was going to take care of all of us.”

Christina began writing “Little Girl” when she was 12, according to her mom, finishing the previously unrleased song after her family moved to California.

Part of the proceeds from downloads of “Little Girl” will go to the Christina Grimmie Foundation, which raises money to support families facing a breast cancer diagnosis and to provide financial, emotional and encouragement support to individuals and families who suffer from gun violence.

Christina was shot to death during a meet and greet with fans following a show in Orlando, Fla., on June 10, 2016.

Since then, her family has been releasing music in Christina’s memory, including the 2017 album, “All is Vanity.”

Here’s “Little Girl.”
