That group includes former American Idol contestant Daniel Seavey and had previously released five EPs and scored a Top 30 pop hit with “Trust Fund Baby.”
The three singles released since then — “Hooked,” “Talk” and “8 Letters,” all from the album “8 Letters” — have failed to match that chart performance.
But the band is popular enough that they were playing Australia on release day and will be making more than a dozen stops in Europe through the end of October.
Jack Avery, Corbyn Besson, Zach Herron and Jonah Marais round out the quintet.
“We hope this album makes you feel,” Why Don’t We writes on its Facebook page. “Whether it be happiness, sadness, or excitement, we hope you all enjoy every second of it. Our lives and our careers so far have led up to this moment.”
