Judging from the comments on my blog, Kelly Clarkson gets mixed reviews as a coach on The Voice.

But in my book, she earns an A+ when it comes to supporting her team members from the show.

Take Friday night. Kelly performed at the INSPIRE charity concert at the Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas.

And she invited two of her Season 16 artists — Jej Vinson and Presley Tennant — on stage to perform with her.

Jej and Kelly sang “Whenever You Call.” It was the song they planned to do as a duet if Jej had reached The Voice finals.

Presley and Kelly sang “Because of You.” It was the first song Presley ever sang for a vocal competition back when she was just 10.

Yesterday was also Presley’s 17th birthday, which made the moment extra special.

“Ahhhhhhh this might be the greatest birthday present I will ever receive,” Presley wrote on Instagram.

Coincidentally, Presley and Jej both released new singles this week. And Kelly gave them a chance to plug those too.

Jej’s first-ever single is a pop song called “Tasty.” Presley, who had released several pre-Voice singles, dropped “Me and You,” a ballad and the lead track off an upcoming EP.

Meanwhile, thanks Kelly, for continuing to support your team members after the show ends.
