In his MySpace bio, A.J. says he took time off after Idol to hone his craft, studying audio engineering in L.A. He now labels himself an artist/songwriter/music producer with the guitar as his primary instrument and the piano his second. He’s been busying recording new music, which you can hear on MySpace and at reverbnation.com. Most of it is dance-beat oriented, and there’s a mixtape, “Love Me Later,” available for download, which was completed sometime in 2010.
