Angie Miller, a Season 12 finalists on American Idol, released her post-show debut EP this week.

After a successful Pledge Music campaign, Angie Miller released a six-track EP called “Weathered.”

Angie co-wrote all the songs on her post-Idol debut and says this about her music:

“I want to have music that has meaning and is real. I don’t want to have dance-party music, but at the same time, I don’t want to put people to sleep.”

Well, that certainly isn’t a problem with the lead track, “Universe Electric,” which I’ve embedded below.

Angie is holding a CD release party at Brighton Music Hall near Boston on Friday, Nov. 28. You can get more details on that on her website.

Angie, 20, finished third in Season 12 of Idol behind Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.

As of Saturday night, “Weathered” was number 38 on the iTunes pop albums chart.
