The catchy pop-country tune is called “More Than Just a Word (L-O-V-E)” and is available on iTunes.
Holly was 20 when she auditioned for The Voice and cracked the Top 6 for Team Blake Shelton. Her cover of “How Great Thou Art” cracked the Top 40 on iTunes overall singles chart.
That’s the same season Danielle Bradbery won The Voice and The Swon Brothers finished third.
According to this interview in The Waco Weekly, the new song is one of four Holly recorded in Nashville last October. She promoted it with a series of Texas on Tour shows at CMA fest last week.
A student at Baylor University, Holly grew up singing with her parents as part of a gospel-country trio known as The Tuckers.
And she was already one of the most prolific Voice performers before appearing on the show, with two albums and two EPs to her credit.
You can keep up with Holly on her website. She’s @hollytmusic on Twitter.
