* Zach Bridges from Season 17 received a five-song EP called “Mississippi Road” on Friday. “One of the cool things about this EP is that there is a little bit of everything when it comes to styles of songs,” Zach writes on Instagram. “There’s twangy chicken pickin’ country, there’s southern rock, country blues, and modern country.” And he could have added that it’s a high-energy project. That’s especially true of the opening two tracks, “”If Love Paid the Bills” and “Mississippi Road.” The EP marks Zach’s biggest project since the show.
