Freshly anointed Top 3 contestants Will Moseley and Abi Carter have announced singles that will drop Friday.

American Idol typically has the Top 5 record what they call winner’s singles that are then released in the lead up to the season finale.

Will’s song is “Good Book Bad.” It doesn’t sound as though it’s a song he wrote, judging from his social media post announcing the single.

“So, through this whole journey I came across a once in a lifetime song, and was lucky enough to get to have a hand in sharing it to the world,” he wrote earlier today.

Abi is dropping a song called “This Isn’t Over.” She says it’s about growing and fighting for yourself.

As of noon, Abi was also the only member of the Top 3 to react to her Idol victory.

She dedicated the win to her mother on Mother’s Day, thanking her again for all her support and love.

In a separate post, Abi writes:

“Still not really able to breathe after last night. I haven’t felt like anything I’ve experienced has been real since my audition, life is a dream.

“Every single one of you that have been supporting me on this journey has made me who I am today. I’ve continued to push myself to do things I never thought I could, and on live television at that 😂

“Thank you thank you thank you for your love, for your criticism, for your thoughts, it has all made me grow.

“I cannot WAIT to go home to see all my friends and family that I’ve missed over these past couple months and be part of their world (see what I did there 😉)💕.”

The final graph refers to the triumphant trips to their hometown each member of the Top 3 will make between now and Sunday’s Season 22 finale.

As for the songs, we’ll likely get singles from Jack Blocker and Emmy Russell too.

After Sunday’s show, Triston Harper announced that he’d be releasing his song “H.O.P.E.” on Friday. It’s an original he performed on the show earlier this season.

All three of the announced songs are available for pre-save or pre-order. You can click on the contestants’ social media links above to get to those.
