We haven’t gotten lots of music from the Season 12 cast of American Idol.

But Angie Miller has been one of the exceptions, releasing an impressive six-track EP called “Weathered” in November.

Now the 21-year-old has followed up with her first video, for the ballad “Simple,” which is included on that EP.

Released earlier this week, the video already has nearly 12,000 views on YouTube. I’ve embedded it below.

Angie, now 21, finished third on Season 12 of Idol behind Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.

As for the video, she celebrated its release last night with a performance at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and had Season 12 tour mate Audrey Cleland on hand as a guest performer.
