So, are you liking the new format for the finals on The Voice? I am. For one thing, it’s every singer for himself or herself, regardless of what team they belong to. In the first two seasons, a singer from each team had to make the final four.

Under the new format on The Voice, it matters not what team you belong to when the finals began. And so all 12 singers performed last week, knowing the judges had no more saves to use and the verdict would be up to voters.
For the second week, the top three finished in the same order on The X Factor. That means Tate Stevens first, Carly Rose Sonenclar second (supposedly by the narrowest of margins) and Vino Alan third.
