Oh, yeah, just check out the gains Kennedy Holmes and Kymberli Joye made after their acclaimed performances last week.

Can the need for the Twitter save send a contestant’s support on that platform through the roof?

Oh, yeah, just look at what happened for DeAndre Nico in the past week.

Not only was he the week’s biggest gainer on Twitter, he doubled his Twitter support en route to a spot in the Top 10 via Tuesday’s instant save.

The lists below rank the Top 10 on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in terms of the followers they gained in the past week. All of the numbers below were recorded early Saturday morning.

MaKenzie Thomas remains the show’s most popular singer on Instagram and also gained the most followers on that platform in the past week.

Ditto for Chris Kroeze on Facebook. And, for the second straight week, Chevel Shepherd was among the show’s biggest gainers on social media.

Remember, two singers go home Tuesday. That means three singers will sing for a Twitter save at the end of the show.
