Now he and Meat Loaf’s former band, The Neverland Express, have embarked on a tribute tour called Bat: A Meat Loaf Celebration.

It comes, of course, in the wake of Meat Loaf’s death on Jan. 22 at age 74 from COVID-related complications.

“Rest in power Meat Loaf,” Caleb wrote the day after the singer passed. “You inspired me to be larger than life and to be louder than everyone else.”

The tour kicked off this weekend with shows in Uncasville, Conn.; Jim Thorpe, Pa.; and Red Bank, N.J.

It resumes Feb. 24 and dates are scheduled through mid-September. More are likely to be added, Caleb says.

More information and tickets are available through the Bat Experience website, which features Caleb’s version of Meat Loaf’s classic “Bat Out of Hell.”

Caleb got to share a stage and sing with Meat Loaf last September in Nashville and raved about the experience on social media, calling it an “absolute honor” and a “night I’ll never forget.”

“His iconic album Bat Out Of Hell changed my life when I first heard it back when I was 15 years old ! It’s easily a top 5 favorite album for me! This man is a rock legend!”
