* Betsy Ade and the Well-Known Strangers have a great new song out called “Working Man.” Betsy, from Season 16, wrote the song as a tribute to her father, who lost his wife to cancer and find himself raising two small children on his own. “Working Man” follows 2021’s “Forever” as the second song released from the band’s upcoming album, “Dawn.”

Peedy Chavis from The Voice Season 21

Peedy Chavis from The Voice Season 21

* Peedy Chavis, from Season 21, is wasting no time getting original music to all his new fans. He’s already released a pair of singles in 2022 — “Yellow Haired Heartbreaker” and “Baby You Got It.” And he says he’s been working on an album he hopes to release sometime early this year. Peedy, from Lawrenceville, Ga., was 19 when he auditioned for The Voice, earned a spot on Team Blake Shelton and made it all the way to the live playoffs.

Berritt Haynes from The Voice Seaosn 21

Berritt Haynes from The Voice Season 21

* Berritt Haynes, from Season 21, released a debut single last month called “Sidewalks of Birmingham.” He told his local newspaper the song was written by a friend who wanted him to record it. Since appearing on The Voice, Berritt has appeared at a number of events in his hometown of Pell City, Alabama, including serving as grand marshal at this year’s Christmas parade. Berritt auditioned for The Voice at age 19, earned a spot on Team Blake and made it to the knockout round.
