Kelly reached the top of the country singles chart earlier this year with a duet of “Don’t You Want to Stay,” featured on a Jason Aldean album.

Now Carrie is heading in the same direction with her duet from Brad Paisley’s “This is Country Music” CD.

The song “Remind Me” jumps five spots on Billboard’s country singles chart this week, from 17 to 12. It’s also number 20 on the digitial download chart, up from 23 last week.

Other chart highlights:

  • At a time when Idol contestants have only one single on the Hot 100, four songs from The Voice are on that chart — Javier Colon’s “Fix You” at 52, Vicci Martinez’s “Dog Days Are Over” at 68 and Dia Frampton’s “Losing My Religion” at 54 and “Heartless” at 82.
  • That aforementioned Idol single on the Hot 100 belongs to Scotty McCreery, whose “Love You This Big” checks in at 73 this week. It’s also 17 on the country singles chart, up five spots.
  • “No One Gonna Love You,” Jennifer Hudson’s second single off her new album, moves up to 40 on the R&B chart. Her first, “Where You At,” peaked at number 10.
