Carrie Underwood released her fifth studio album on Friday.

And to promote “Storyteller,” she performed songs from the new album on Today.

The album, by the way, zipped straight to number one on the iTunes’ country album chart.

And it was the best-selling new album released Friday on the overall iTunes chart.

The only album ahead of it on the chart as of 8 p.m. was Adele’s upcoming “25.” Pre-orders for that album just began.

Here are photos of Carrie from her Today appearance, courtesy of The Associated Press.
