The CMT Music Award folks announced today that Season 3 Voice winner Cassadee Pope and Season 12 American Idol runner-up Kree Harrison have been added to the list of performers for next week’s telecast.

They’ll perform on the Nationwide Insurance stage, which means we’ll probably see just a brief snippet of their performances as the show breaks away for a commercial break.

Still, it’s nice and timely exposure for Kree, who has her American Idol single to promote, and for Cassadee, who has her first single coming out the day before the show.

Performing on the main stage at Wednesday’s show will be Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and a large cast of other country stars, including Luke Bryan, the Pistol Annies, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and George Strait.

Carrie is up for two awards, as listed below. Kelly Clarkson is up for one, thanks to a duet she performed on the 2012 CMA Awards with Vince Gill.

The show airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, on CMT.
