Little by little, Cassadee Pope keeps giving us glimpses of her upcoming debut album.

The latest glimpse came Tuesday with the iTunes release of “11,” one of the songs she co-wrote for the album, “Frame by Frame.”

Cassadee Pope released another song from her upcoming album to iTunes on Tuesday.

Cassadee Pope released another song from her upcoming album to iTunes on Tuesday.

The song tells the story of a girl who loses touch with her dad at a young age, a theme that will sound familiar to anyone who followed Cassadee on her path to The Voice Season 3 crown.

And that song has apparently struck a chord with Cassadee’s fans.

As of 2 p.m., it was sitting at number eight on iTunes’ country downloads chart, having risen steadily throughout the morning. By Wednesday, at the same time, it was up to number five.

In a Facebook post, Cassadee writes “this song is very close to my heart, and I’m excited to share it with you all.”

She explains the song in more detail in this interview with Rolling Stone.

“Frame by Frame” is due out Oct. 8, and includes five tunes co-written by Cassadee.

And the former Hey Monday lead singer is doing her best to make sure the album is a success, doing interviews everywhere she goes.

Not to mention special appearances beyond her tour with Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry.

Wednesday night, for instance, she’s performing on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

For a singer who was struggling to get anyone to listen to her solo music a year ago, that’s not a bad way to be celebrating a 24th birthday.
