Today, she announced that it would be released Oct. 8.

And, after a couple of days of fan voting on her website, she revealed the album cover. That’s it at right.

Cassadee, of course, has already released the lead single for the album, “Wasting All These Tears.”

The song sold 125,000 downloads the week it was released and has since passed the 200,000 download mark

Of course, Cassadee has a pretty high-profile summer gig from which to market her music. She’s touring with Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry. That tour stopped at Hersheypark Stadium last week and runs through September.

And Cassadee was in the studio of radio station WGNA in Schenectady, N.Y., on Monday talking after her experience on The Voice.

Head here for the full interview and to hear an acoustic version of “Wasting All These Tears” and “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart.”

Asked during the interview how she’s been affected by winning The Voice, Cassadee says she’s definitely happier these days because she feels like she has a career.

Before The Voice, she said she had just moved to L.A., was trying to make a fresh start in the music business with her former band Hey Monday on hiatus and was teaching voice lessons “for pennies.”

“A year ago, I had nothing going on. It was not fun.”

The biggest lesson she learned from The Voice: “Be real. Be authentic. Be true to yourself. Good things will come.”
