Now don’t just to the wrong conclusion. That’s not Caroline dancing on the bridge; that’s a dancer named Marisa Anz.
Caroline’s job is to provide a lovely stripped down version of the 1985 hit.
The song is the lone cover on her self-titled debut album, released earlier this year.
“I think there’s something really cool about artists doing unexpected covers and I thought what better than an upbeat ’80s cover tune? That song is a classic and perfect as is, but I really enjoyed re-arranging it into an ambient ballad,” Caroline said back when the song was released in late June.
