* Brother Bird (aka Caroline Glaser from Season 4) recently released an 11-song album called “Gardens.” It’s her first project of such a grand scope since a self-titled Caroline Glazer album in 2016. Caroline says she started “gardens” with Andy Hull and Robert Mcdowell back in early 2019. “These songs are insanely special to me & I’m genuinely teary eyed thinking about all the incredible people who have been along for this ride. Truly a village,” she writes on social media. My favorite tracks on the album include “Stay Down,” “What We’ve Become” and “Kid Again,” which you can check out below.

* Ryan Innes from Season 3 collaborated with Hidden Citizens on a song called “Monster” released just before Halloween. “This one’s gonna hit you square in the chest. Like you’re in your own nightmare,” Ryan promised. He co-wrote the song with Billy Van and Tim Halperin, an American Idol contestant several seasons ago.

JessLee from The Voice Season 14

JessLee from The Voice Season 14

* JessLee from Season 14 has teamed up with Break the Rules for a new single called “John Doe.” She wrote the song with Steve Virginia and Nico Brey and says it’s the type of song she’s been wanting to release for a while. JessLee calls her music “punktry” — “a mix of pop, rock and country in whatever way best suits the project I am working on. I officially coined the term on The Voice and have been waiting to do something that leaned a little more on the pop rock side! I knew the time was right when @breaktherulesmusic approached me with the track.”
