Darby Anne Walker, a Top 11 finisher on Season 11 of The Voice, just released her first post-show single.

The song is called “Don’t Wanna Stop” and hit Spotify Friday; it apparently hasn’t landed in iTunes yet.

It’s also the first song from an upcoming album, Darby indicates on her Facebook page. You can check out the song below.

Darby was 17 when she auditioned for The Voice with “Stand By Me,” turned three chairs and landed a spot on Team Miley Cyrus.

She went on to make a mark on Season 11 with her unique song choices, performances and style.

Remember all those flowers when she sang “Ruby Tuesday.” She calls the style new age, psychedelic, hippie princess.

As for the single, it could be the start to a big year for Darby.

In addition to the planned album, she plays the title role in a film called “Alice: The Hatred” that will be released this year.

And, in a YouTube Q&A with fans, she says she’s planning on launching a merchandise line sometime soon.

First, though, there’s a pretty special concert in Nashville. Sixteen Season 11 contestants are gathering for a show at the Wildhorse Saloon on Sunday. If you’re in the area, tickets are a bargain at just $10.

Now, that single. It’s just the second Darby has released and follows “Take Me Back Blue,” which came out last April, before she appeared on The Voice.
