Earlier this week, Christina Grimmie released her first EP since finishing third on Season 6 of The Voice.
And “Side A” immediately zipped near the top of my list of best pop EPs we’ve gotten from a singer from the show.
All four tracks are winners. Christina sounds amazing. And her music has clearly progressed since her last major release, 2013’s “With Love” album.
Christina has posted lyric videos for all four songs. So I’ve embedded them below so you can check out the music before downloading.
The EP reached number 28 on the iTunes albums chart on release day (Feb. 21) and was still hovering around 100 when I checked Thursday morning.
And apparently, Christina will be serving up a music video for “Snow White” fairly soon. She’s been posting photos from the video shoot on her Facebook page.
If you’d like to hear Christina live, she’s on tour with Rachel Platten and Eric Hutchinso. And that tour will be making stops in Philly and D.C.
The Philly stop is at the Trocadero Theatre on March 8. Tickets are $22 or $25. The D.C. stop is at the 9:30 Club on March 14. Tickets are $25.
For all the tour dates, head here.
