Constantine heading back to Broadway as Jekyll and Hyde

4

Looks like Constantine Maroulis is heading back to Broadway.

He announced via Twitter this morning that “Jekyll & Hyde, The Musical,” in which he has the starring role, will debut on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theater in April.

That would be immediately after a nationwide tour that will include stops in Philly and Washington, D.C.

Constantine has been preparing for the role since his casting was announced in January.

His co-star will be Deborah Cox, an R&B singer-songwriter who had her biggest hit back in 1998 with “Nobody’s Supposed to be Here.”

“Jekyll and Hyde” will stop at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House from Nov. 20-25, with ticket prices ranging from $25 to $115.

Tickets went on sale to members of the general public earlier this month. Head here for details.

The Philly dates are Dec. 26-30 at the Forrest Theatre. For now, it appears tickets are only available as part of a Broadway season purchase.
