Craig Wayne Boyd has released the second song from his upcoming album, Top Shelf.

So, have you checked out the latest song released from Craig Wayne Boyd’s upcoming “Top Shelf” album?

It’s a soulful, swampy, sing-along jam called “We Sweat.”

And it proves the Season 7 winner of The Voice wasn’t joking when he said his post-show debut album will break down some genre boundaries.

“The Voice really opened up my eyes that I wasn’t just an outlaw country guy,” Craig said in a recent interview with The Huffington Post. “I matured as an artist during that time and realized that my music could be open to more than just a country audience.”

“Top Shelf” is due out Oct. 27 and also features lead single “Stuck in My Head,” a song Craig released a couple of weeks ago.

The album is available for pre-order now. Anyway doing so gets the two songs already released as instant downloads.

Of course, this is an album fans have been awaiting for quite a while. It’s been three years since Craig won The Voice, but his post-show label deal didn’t work out.

He’ll be releasing the album under the Copperline Music Group banner. And it’ll include a duet with Taylor Borland, Craig’s wife, on a tune called “Somewhere in There,” which he says she inspired. The couple had a daughter in January.

Here’s the new song.
