Some contestants on The Voice were clearly getting a wee bit nervous as the results came in Tuesday night.

For instance, take just-turned-16 Reagan James.

With half of the spots taken in the Top 10, she tweeted out: “Make sure you’re watching guys. I might need you.”

Meaning in case she landed in the bottom three and needed an instant save.

Other contestants barely had time to get nervous.

Like 25-year-old DaNica Shirey of York. She was the third contestant sent to safety Tuesday night, continuing her improbable run on the show after a three-year absence from the stage.

And she quickly tweeted out a thanks to fans.

“Ahh you all have been helping me live my dream and I want to say thank you; it means so much to me and my family.”

DaNica took a risk Monday night, singing Radiohead’s “Creep.” But her performance received praise from the coaches.

It also did well on iTunes, htiting number 30 on the pop chart (where she landed between Sam Smith and Taylor Swift) and number 59 on the overall iTunes singles chart.

So it’s on to the Top 10 for DaNica, with another live performance next Monday night.

And there might be a public watch party at the Pullo Center to cheer DaNica on. More details on that to come.
