Season 4, The Voice

Danielle Bradbery cracks top 10 on iTunes

Maybe Blake Shelton wasn’t being premature when he called Danielle Bradbery the Season 4 favorite on The Voice after all.

At 10 a.m., when voting ended, Danielle topped all Voice contestants on the iTunes chart.

Her single from Monday’s show, “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” was sitting at number eight. The next closest: Michelle Chamuel with her cover of Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason” at number 15.

And who’s in trouble tonight?

Well, Kris Thomas can’t be feeling too comfortable about now.

His version of “Adorn” checked in at number 176, below 14 other performances from the show, including some from a couple of weeks ago.

For Danielle, it marks her second visit to the Top 10.

Two weeks ago, “Maybe It Was Memphis,” did the trick as the favorite Voice tune from the live playoffs. Last week, her version of “Wasted” was sitting at 22 when voting ending, trailing only The Swon Brothers.

Both of those performances were also back in the top 150 on the iTunes singles chart this morning.

After Danielle, here’s where all the artists singing last night landed.

#15: Michelle Chamuel, “Just Give Me a Reason.”
#31: Holly Tucker, “How Great Thou Art”
#41: Sarah Simmons, “Mamma Knows Best”
#55: The Swon Brothers, “How Country Feels”
#66: Sasha Allen, “Next to Me”
#72: Judith Hill, “The Way You Make Me Feel”
#90: Amber Carrington, “Breakaway”
#134: Josiah Hawley, “Clocks”
#176: Kris Thomas, “Adorn”

I hadn’t realized what a juggernaut Danielle Bradbery has become. After The Voice voting closed Tuesday morning, ‘Heads Carolina, Tails California’ moved up another notch to #7 on iTunes Top 200 songs list. And, Danielle was also solidly #1 on the iTunes country song chart, just ahead of somebody called Blake Shelton at #2. One word: Yikes!

I hope they don’t pull the your to young to handle this crap!! She’s a vey beautiful young girl who loves country music. Nashville will be luck to have her. I’d like Maiandra Lambert to help her sing one of her songs, She’s got the voice to really belt out some of Martina McBride’s songs to. She come into her own .Hopefully a better roll model than Taylor. She’ll Give Carrie a run for her money.
