Daughtry tour continues, new music on the way

0

It’s been a while since we’ve had an update on Chris Daughtry and his band.

Since The Associated Press provided some great photos (below) from a weekend concert in Polk, Wisc., I figured now would be the perfect time.

We haven’t gotten new music from Daughtry since November 2011 when the band released its third studio album, “Break the Spell.”

But that’s about to change, according to an interview Chris did earlier this month with FOX 8 News and that is posted on the Daughtry website.

The band plans to release a new single before the end of the year.

Album number four? That might come as soon as February, according to the interview.

As for the tour, Daughtry recently played the very first concert at the arena connected to the new Kansas City Casino. And for photos from a show in Bay City, Mich., head here.

The shows continue through early October. Head here for the complete list. The closest to this area is an Aug. 30 concert in Virginia Beach.

Now, here are the AP photos from the weekend show at the Washington County Fair in Wisconsin.
