>Pre-orders are now underway on iTunes for Fantasia’s new album, “The Definition Of …”

And the Season 3 Idol champ has also released audio for a third song from the album, “So Blue.” You can check it out below.

On the red carpet at the American Idol finale, Fantasia says she’s tired of being boxed in musically and this album represents her breaking out of that box.

She’s promised a rock-soul explosion. And she’s apparently going to offer up a diverse collection of songs. On that finale, she debuted “Ugly,” a country tune with a ton of soul.

“No Time for It,” the lead single for the album, was released in January and peeked at number six on the Billboard adult R&B singles chart.

“The Definition Of” is scheduled for a June 10 release. It will mark Fantasia’s fifth album since Idol.

“This album means so much to me … I was finally allowed to create a body of work that truly speaks to my love of MUSIC.. ALL MUSIC,” she writes on Facebook.

Meanwhile, Fantasia is on tour with Anthony Hamilton and she has several shows planned in the area, including two at the Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore (April 30 and June 5), two at DAR Constitution Hall in D.C. (May 6-7) and one at The Mann in Philly (June 3).

Now, here’s that new song.
