Philly area singer-songwriter Gina Zo is about to head out on her first tour.

Gina Zo has played plenty of shows since appearing on Season 10 of The Voice.

But the Philly-area singer-songwriter is about to embark on her first full band tour.

Her Coming of Age Tour kicks off Friday at Fish Head Cantina in Baltimore, Md., and features seven shows over the course of this month.

“This is pretty much my first true tour in general, but definitely is making me feel absolutely ecstatic,” Gina told Voice Views. “If you had asked me during my time on The Voice, if I thought I would be doing a tour yet, I do not think that I would say yes.”

As for the tour’s name, the 21-year-old explained it this way.

“Coming of Age, to me, essentially means coming to the age when I am stronger than ever, when I feel more confident and more wild than ever before. Things are changing all around me and I am 100 percent okay with that.”

Gina’s tour will include a pair of stops in North Carolina, one in Pittsburgh, one in Nashville and one in her hometown of West Chester, Pa.

You can check out all the dates and ticket information on her Facebook page.

Musically, Gina’s been quite productive since her time on The Voice, developing a distinct style and releasing a pair of albums last year — “My Weakness” and “Free My Soul.”

Her latest single, “Chalkboard,” was released earlier this year. You can check it out below.

Coming next, new live treats for her fans, dropping as singles on her Soundcloud page.

Gina explains that she and her band recorded a live set earlier this year. The live tracks to be featured include some previously unreleased songs.

She’s also preparing a new single for release early next year and says it’s received a warm reception from those who have heard it.

“It defies anything we have ever done as a band and it is truly a new mature sound that is totally the rock pop I have been wanting to put out for a long time,” she says.
