Harper Grace, a Top 50 contestant on American Idol, has a new single out.

You’ll remember Harper Grace as one of four contestants invited back to American Idol during the Season 16 finals to sing an original song.

Well, Harper just released a new single, a ballad called “New King James.”

And she sounds great on it. You can check out the lyric video below.

Harper’s the young lady who had a national anthem performance go horribly awry at age 11, but more than redeemed herself on Idol, advancing to the Top 50 as a 16-year-old high school student out of McKinney, Texas.

Along the way, she got to sing two originals, “Yard Sale” and “Rest in Peace.”

Since the show, Harper has enjoyed her 17th birthday, traveled to Uganda for a 10-day mission trip with her parents and celebrated 100,000 views for her “Yard Sale” music video (which is now up to 145,000).

Here’s the new song, which hit iTunes earlier this month.
