Jena Irene returned home to Farmington Hills, Mich., for an American Idol Top 3 celebration Saturday.
Her day included a concert for the public at her high school football stadium, another for her fellow high school seniors, a parade in her honor and a stop at Hercules Family Restaurant, where she was a waitress before her days on American Idol.
The Detroit Free Press reported that 5,000 people turned out for the free concert.
And Michigan Live reported that her set included “Valerie,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and one of her originals, “Unbreakable Me.”
