An hour after Monday’s show, Sawyer’s cover of “Simple Man” had already cracked the Top 10 on iTunes.
When voting ended at noon, it was sitting at number two, marking the third straight week he’s earned bonus points by landing in the Top 10 on iTunes overall singles chart.
Meanwhile, Joshua Davis might just avoid the bottom three this week. At noon, he was also in the Top 10 on iTunes, the only artist besides Sawyer to reach bonus point territory at that time, though Kimberly Nicole finished just outside that plateau at number 12.
Here’s where all the performances landeda and were sitting as of 2:30 p.m.
