The Voice entered night four of the battle round with just one steal remaining, and it belonged to Pharrell Williams.
Pharrell wound up using that steal on Jacob Rummell, an 18-year-old pop singer from Ohio who stepped out of his comfort zone in admirable fashion when Blake Shelton asked him to sing Hunter Hayes’ “I Want Crazy.”
Blake declared country singer Corey Kent White the winner of that battle, opening the door for Pharrell to steal Jacob as the teams prepare to head into the knockout round.
Other winners in matches we saw Tuesday night were Rob Taylor of Team Christina, who knocked off four-chair turn recipient Jeremy Gaynor, and Sawyer Fredericks, who avoided the same fate when he was pitted against Noelle Bybee.
Three other battle rounds were montaged, included victories by Lexi Davila, Brooke Adee and Koryn Hawthorne.

Blake should not have made a pitch to Jacob to choose him instead of Adam. Blake can only handle country. Jermaine Paul was already a professional when he won. Jacob is raw talent and will develop with Pharrell’s coaching.
Blake choosing a country song made it obvious he wanted to dump Jacob.
