James Durbin, New Idol Music

James Durbin, Idol’s Season 10 rocker, releases 1st single

We’ve heard plenty of new country music from the Season 10 Idols, even a little pop courtesy of Pia Toscano.

Now comes the rock.

James Durbin, who finished fourth on Idol, released his first single today.  The song is called “Love Me Bad” and aired on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Monday.   I’ve embedded a YouTube version below.  At the 2:15 mark, you’re going to hear  one of those shrieks James made famous on Idol.

Anyway, you can head over to iTunes to download the power ballad.  You can also pre-order James’ album, “Memories of a Beautiful Disaster,” which comes out Dec. 21.

Right now, the album is $9.99 on iTunes.   People who pre-order now get an instant download of a single and a pre-order only track called “Crawling Home” on Nov. 21.   The iTunes version of the album also includes two other bonus tracks.

Now, here’s the single.
