Jennifer Hudson continued a string of performances at the Super Bowl by former Idol contestants Sunday night.

Accompanied by the chorus from Sandy Hook Elementary School, she sang “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game ceremony.

Jennifer sang the national anthem prior to the Super Bowl in 2009.

Other past Idols to perform that duty include Kelly Clarkson (2011), Carrie Underwood (2010) and Jordin Sparks (2008).
