Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson will be among the stars performing on “Brooks & Dunn: The Last Rodeo” special airing on CBS at 8 p.m. Sunday.

For those who don’t follow country music, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are parting ways after performing together since 1991. During the interim, they’ve recorded 20 number one country singles.

But first comes Sunday’s special and a farewell tour that includes dates in Hershey (June 17), Washington, D.C. (June 19) and Philly (July 31). Go
here for details.

In the video above, Carrie explains why she will be performing “Neon Moon,” a Brooks and Dunn song she says she’s been singing since she was 8 years old.

And, if you miss Carrie on Sunday night, she’ll be back on TV Wednesday.

That’s right, she’s one of the guest performers on the American Idol finale, singing her new single, “Undo It.”

Meanwhile, here are photos from the recording of the Brooks & Dunn special, which took place the night after the Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony, where Carrie was named Entertainer of the Year for the second straight year.
