There will be a touch of American Idol flavor to this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Among the stars expected to be on hand for event are Season 6 American idol winner Jordin Sparks and Season 5 standout Chris Daughtry and his band.

Mariah Carey will also be in the parade, though she’s distanced herself from the one-season disaster that her judging stint became.

She has also said she has absolutely no interest in being part of whatever final-season reunion celebration American Idol puts together.

Here’s betting Jordin and Chris will be thrilled to take part.

As for the parade, other music stars expected to be part of the annual event include Jennifer Nettles, Pat Benatar, Shawn Mendes, Jake Owen and Trey Songz.

Viewers will also get a sneak peek preview performance from NBC’s “The Wiz Live!” which premieres Thursday, Dec. 3.

The parade airs 9 a.m. to noon ET on NBC. On Thursday, of course.
