Idols on the Music Chart, Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Stronger’ tops another chart

0

Kelly Clarkson is in the news these days for all sorts of reasons.

There’s the new boyfriend, the weight loss, the new hair color.

Oh, and that new TV show called “Duets.”

But here’s another reason for Kelly fans to celebrate: Her single “Stronger” just topped another Billboard chart.

After weeks stuck at number two on the adult contemporary singles chart, “Stronger” nudged Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” from the top spot.

By my count, that’s at least seven charts the song has topped, including the Hot 100, the pop songs chart, the radio song chart and the adult pop song chart.

Oh, and let’s not forget, it also became Kelly’s first-ever number one on the dance/club play chart earlier this year.

Next up from Kelly: “Dark Side.”

Speaking of which, iTunes is running a special that includes the video for “Dark Side” and the basic version of Kelly’s “Stronger” album for $7.99.
