That, folks, is the lowest album debut for an Idol winner yet. The previous lowest debut was season six winner Jordin Sparks at number 10.

The good news for Kris: His first single, “Live Like You’re Dying,” bolted from 70 to 41 on the Hot 100 singles chart.

And the album was number six on the digital albums chart.

Meanwhile, Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment” single dropped right out of the Hot 100 this week after debuting at number 91 last week.

A complete look at Idol’s on the Billboard charts will come tomorrow.

Meanwhile, here’s a rundown on where previous Idol winners debuted on the Billboard 200.

Season One: Kelly Clarkson, #1

Season Two: Ruben Studdard, #1

Season Three: Fantastia, #8

Season Four: Carrie Underwood, #2

Season Five: Taylor Hicks, #2

Season Six: Jordin Sparks, #10

Season Seven: David Cook, #3
