American Idol eliminated two more talented artists Monday night in singer-songwriters Kyndal (Inskeep) and Lucas Leon.

The good news is that fans won’t have to wait for them to release new music. Both already have original music out.

Kyndal took to social media Wednesday to thank fans for supporting her on her “big, beautiful, bold journey” on American Idol.

She said the experience “lit a fire under me that might have gone missing.”

And the 29-year-old from Fishers, Indiana, also told fans “we’re going out on tour,” though it was unclear who “we” includes.

American Idol hasn’t announced a tour involving Season 24 contestants and hasn’t had an official cast tour since 2015.

That said, groups of contestants have banded together to organize their own tours after the show.

Idol marked Kyndal’s second appearance on a major singing show. In the fall of 2019, she made it to the playoffs on The Voice.

She’s released lots of music since including four singles with more than 1 million spins on Spotify, including “Honest” (18 million) and “Parachute” (17 million. Both of those songs dropped in 2023 as collaborations with Song House in Nashville.

Lucas, meanwhile, was the youngest contestant remaining on the show at age 18. Yet he held his own with his older cast mates, especially in terms of stage presence.

He entered the show with two singles out, “On in My Mind” from 2024 and “Summertime Dream” from 2025.

“I just wanna say how thankful I am for the whole experience I had with @americanidol,” Lucas said in a social media post Tuesday.

“I made some amazing friends, learned a lot, and overall had a great time. I’ve discovered a lot about myself as a person and as an artist out here …”

“Secondly, y’all haven’t seen nothing yet. I’m so pumped to hit the ground running with everything an artist does and more. If you discovered me on American Idol, you’ve only seen a tiny bit of me and I can’t wait for all the new folks to watch me go for gold with everything I do.”
