Lauren Alaina returning to York for Fan Fest

0

Lauren Alaina is returning to York next month, but not to sing.

She’ll be a featured guest at the York Revolution’s 2012 Fan Fest, meeting with fans and participating in an autograph session.

The April 21 event will kick off with a free concert outside the stadium by Mountain Road, a York County band. That will begin at 10:15 a.m.

From 11 to 11:15 a.m., Lauren Alaina will hold a question and answer session with fans, followed by an autograph session until noon. There is no charge for the event.

Lauren won’t be able to perform at her York appearance because she’ll be doing that Saturday night at Zembo Temple Auditorium in Harrisburg as part of the Bob 94.9FM New Country Birthday Bash.

Lauren, Eden’s Edge and James Wesley will perform at the 6 p.m. concert. Tickets are — get this — free.

But there’s a catch. You have to travel to one of the ticket spots at a specified time to get them; the first 100 people to show up at each site get a pair of tickets and a chance to participate in a meet and greet at the show.

The next ticket stop is 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Emory Transmissions, 1599 Hummel Ave., in Camp Hill. It’s also the closest of the four upcoming ticket giveaway sites, though more are promised.

You can head here to learn more about the Birthday Bash — it’s restricted to folks 21 and older — and here to check out all the ticket locations.

Lauren was in town in December for the well-received Jingle Bell Jam at the Toyota Center, sponsored by WGTY Great Country 107.7 of Gettysburg and the York Fair. For photos from that show, go here.
