Listen to more Lee than ‘Sweet Serendipity’

Anxious to hear more of Lee DeWyze’s debut album than the single “Sweet Serendipity?”

You can now hear snippets of all 11 tracks by heading to Lee’s Facebook page and hitting the “like” button.

I’ve already done it and listened to the first four snippets.

And was encouraged when I got to track three — “It’s Gotta Be Love” — and heard music that sounded more like the pre-Idol Lee DeWyze music I enjoyed so much.

I am not a big fan of “Sweet Serendipity.” Perhaps it will grow on me. It hasn’t yet.

For one thing, there’s that chorus that’s anything but sing-along friendly.

It’s almost like someone hit the fast forward button between Lee’s shoulder blades as he tries to string together all those words without taking a deep breath.

Lee performed “Sweet Serendipity” on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night, and you’ll have plenty more chances to watch him perform in the week ahead.

His TV appearances include the following …

* Sunday: NFL football appearance on FOX (no time specified).

* Monday: Today on NBC

* Tuesday: Live with Regis and Kelly on ABC

* Thursday: The Ellen DeGeneres Show on NBC

Meanwhile, here’s the video from the Tonight Show appearance.

    I like Sweet serendipity! After listening to the longer snippets it seems to be the weakest song of the bunch! All the other songs are so Lee and closer to his So I’m told and SLumberland cd!! Im going to wear out this cd!
