Jacquie Roar, Tae Lewis and Madison Curbelo, past standouts on The Voice, all have new music out.

Catching up on new music from standouts from the past two seasons of The Voice.

* Madison Curbello, Top 9 on the most recent season of The Voice, has dropped her first single since, a song called “Chuck Taylors.” She also released a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” one of the songs she performed on the show. And she had an especially memorable moment at a show in her home state of Massachusetts early last month, singing “Time After Time” with Javier Colon, winner of Season 3. Writes Madison: “I remember watching @javiercolonmusic win season one of the voice with my family thirteen years ago and thinking “man, I would love to be on that stage one day.” Flash forward to season 25 when the idea came up for me to sing Time After Time in the semi-finals, I just knew that I had to do Javier’s version. Little did I know that one day we would be singing it on stage together.”

* Tea Lewis, also a semifinalist on Season 25, has dropped a pair of singles — “Like You Do” and “Knowhere.” The former already has 21,000 streams on Spotify. Tae notes that they mark his first releases in more than a year, adding “I’ve been working on new music for almost 3 years now and I strongly believe this new music I’m gonna show you guys is my brand and so much more.”

* Jacquie Roar, a Season 24 finalist, certainly delivers the country rock on her latest single, “High Heel High.” She describes it as a song about cheaters and how you handle cheaters. “This is the angry anthem of the year. With the same feeling of ‘Before He Cheats’ but with the fury of my past hurt … I got in that studio and felt so much anger from past relationships. I stayed in that zone and sang my face off.” Jacquie spent last weekend having a blast performing for home state crowds at the 2024 Oregon Jamboree.
