Her audition: Chelsea Gann, 27, of Liberty Mounds, Okla., auditioned with Martina McBride’s “Wild Angels” in a performance that was part of a montage package, meaning we only saw a tiny snippet of it. But it earned her a spot on Team Christina.
Her background: According to her bio on The Voice website, Chelsea’s mom recorded gospel music for music of her life. Chelsea, who grew up in a town of 500 people, began singing in church with her mom. She auditioned for The Voice twice previously and failed to make it past the open calls. She tried for the third time at the urging of her mother.
