Colin Stough of American Idol Season 21

Colin Stough is one of the artists to announce he auditioned for American Idol.

American Idol returns to ABC on Sunday, Feb. 19 for its Season 21 premiere.

Here’s more about Colin.

* He’s a country singer from Gattmann, Mississippi.

* He graduated from Hatley High School in Armory, Mississippi, where he played on the football team.

* On Facebook, he writes that he’s been working at Brown and Son Heat and Air near his home since June 22.

* The only covers on his YouTube channel are “Nashville, Tenn.” by Chris Stapleton and “I Don’t Want to Be” by Gavin DeGraw.

* But you can hear much more of Colin’s raspy country vocals on his TikTok, where he has more than 1,000 followers.

* He hasn’t released original music yet, but has posted snippets there of a couple of songs he’s written — “Place for Me” and “Lucky.”
