Julliane Post of American Idol Season 24

Julliane Post of American Idol Season 24

Her audition: Julianne Post, 21, Farmerville, La., performed “Long Live the Lost Boys” (an original): I Love this woman’s original sound and her music. She has two great singles out. Lionel Richie loves her uniqueness. Carrie Underwood, however, votes no, uncertain how she will fit on the show. Luke Bryan breaks that tie by voting to see Julianne through to Hollywood. Lionel calls her “the misfit” but says he’s a big fan of “it doesn’t fit” and pledged to buy the single.

Here’s more about Julianne:

* She’s a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Farmerville, Louisianna, now attending Louisianna Tech University.

* Julianna has two songs on major streaming sites — “Long Live the Lost Boys” and “The Traveler (a Celtic ballad).” They’re both very, very good. Check out the former below. Be sure to check out the other on a streaming site.

* “Long Live the Lost Boys” — a song she wrote for long-distance friends — was a Bluebird Golden Pick contest winner.

* That earned her a chance to perform at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville in May.

* And the first time she performed “Long Live the Lost Boys” live, someone anonymously gave her a necklace that reads “Anything Is Possible.” Julianne took the necklace to her Idol audition as a good luck charm.

* She released three other singles back in 2022 that no longer appear to be available.

* But if you want to check out more of Julianne’s original music, just head to her Instagram. It’s packed with impressive originals.

* Julianne describes herself as “a storyteller who writes outside the lines.”
